Anthony Somma for New Jersey Assembly LD 25

Republican for NJ General Assembly · District 25

Cut taxes, cut costs, and make New Jersey affordable.

“Career politicians have made New Jersey too expensive to live in. They've had their turn. Now it's ours. I'm Anthony Somma and I'm running to cut taxes, cut costs, and make this state affordable again for the people who actually live and work here.”

Anthony on the issues

Lower Taxes

Cut taxes. Cut fees. Cut the burden on working families. End unfair policies that punish success and make New Jersey unaffordable.

Lower Healthcare Costs

Stop skyrocketing healthcare costs. Take on big insurance companies and bring real competition to lower prices for families.

No More Mandates

End one-size-fits-all mandates. Put parents and taxpayers first—not special interests, big-pharma, or overdevelopment.

Save Our Schools

Keep schools open. Keep schools local. Protect quality education and ensure every child has a fair shot.

Back Our Cops

Stand with law enforcement. Protect our communities and enforce the law—no exceptions.

Protect 2A Rights

Defend the Second Amendment. Roll back unconstitutional restrictions on law-abiding citizens.

Pass Voter ID

Secure our elections. Require voter ID to protect integrity and restore confidence.

Pro Life

Make it easier for mothers to say ‘Yes’ to a newborn child. Expand access to pregnancy resource centers. Increase child tax credits.

Support the Trades

Invest in skilled workers. Strengthen the trades to rebuild our workforce and lower costs.

Free Markets

Meet Anthony

Anthony Somma is a life-long Republican, community volunteer, activist, and successful businessman who consistently delivers results for the people who depend on him.

Anthony was born and raised in Dover, the son of a working-class Italian and Irish Catholic family. He worked his way through college, earning degrees from the County College of Morris and Rutgers University. Anthony and his wife, Meagan, are raising their two kids in Randolph.

Anthony:

  • Serves as a Commissioner for the Morris County Housing Authority, a county-level agency assisting low- and moderate-income seniors, families, and individuals with disabilities with accessing housing.
  • Advises New Jersey-based employers on how to combat unaffordable employee healthcare costs driven up by the multi-billion-dollar insurance companies and dark money interests.
  • Served as co-Chair of the largest independent Get-Out-The-Vote operation in New Jersey for President Trump, organizing thousands of volunteers who helped deliver the closest margin for a Republican in a Presidential race since 1992.
  • Serves as the Vice Chair for the Randolph Republican Committee and fights for conservative Republican candidates across the state.

Anthony is committed to the following priorities that will define his campaign: cut taxes, cut fees, and cut the burden on families; back law enforcement and protect our communities — no exceptions; keep schools open and keep funding local; end one-size-fits-all mandates and put parents and taxpayers first; and take on the big insurance companies to crack down on price gouging that has sent the cost of healthcare sky-high. Anthony sees how the game is rigged — and he's had enough.
